First Snow

I can't believe it's already that time of year! My boys were so excited to watch the white stuff fall. I on the other hand not so excited. It's so hard to keep a 1 and 2 year old entertained inside all day. It was a lot of fun though to see how happy they were out there running around! They were laughing and squealing! Made the first snowfall bearable.

Big Boy Beds

We finally did it and made the move from crib to bed. We were up north one night and on a whim decided to stop at Ikea and the rest is history. When we were taking down the crib I almost wanted to cry.  I was afraid he was going to have a hard time because he LOVED his crib. He has done surprisingly well. We also set up Nash's because lets be honest I doubt the poor kid will ever sleep in a crib. I am kind of embarrassed to admit that he is still in the pack n play in our room! We are going to try moving him over as soon as Madden gets used to his bed! Our next purchase is hopefully a dresser that doesnt fall apart!

Cookie Monster

Nash is my eater. He will eat anything you put in front of him. He also loves anything that has to do with sugar, lots and lots of sugar! He is a boy after my own heart. I love these pictures of him eating his sugar cookie! Pure joy!

Asthma Issues

Seems like this time of year is always horrible for Madden. He can't walk two feet with out coughing up a lung. Whenever he is having an attack he begs for us to "breath smoke". It breaks my heart that he has to deal with it all day every day. He cant be a normal boy who runs all day every day. It sucks to have to say sit down and take a breather. He is a tough little guy . I remind myself there is so much worse he could be dealing with! Our mornings and nights will consist with breathing smoke for a while until the blessed day we get an inhaler!

Fun with Cousins

My cousin got married last Saturday so we had family in town all week long. I went up and stayed at my moms so I could hang out with my sisters. It was a fun week full of shopping, Gardener Village, relaxing, and wedding stuff!

Witchpalooza

My husbands extended family is always doing fun things. Every year we dress up and go to witches night out and have a grand old time. This year everyone wanted to do something different so we went to the Taming of the Brew they have at Gardener Village. It was so much fun. The play was hilarious and the food tasted fantastic. Pretty sure I ate all my pumpkin cake before it even started! It's always nice to have a break and a fun night out with the girls!

Nash-a-roo

I love this stage that Nash is in. He is becoming a little boy and no longer my baby. He is exploring and learning new things daily. He is starting to speak a lot which is crazy! He is such a loving little guy. His snuggles are amazing! He is super shy and it melts my heart! He wants to be just like Madden in everything he does. I often find myself wishing I could stop time because he is growing too fast!

Simple Entertainment

Madden loves flash lights. He especially loves the head lamp lights. It is simple entertainment for me and him. He will chase the light on the floor forever creating quite the laugh for me! Sometime Nash gets in on it too! So hilarious!

Marching Band

My boys love to play marching band. They get out the measuring cups and bang them and march around till their little hearts are content. Its actually amazing how loud and long they can bang those suckers! ;)

School Yet?

Madden is obsessed with going to school. He can't wait to ride the yellow bus and eat with big kids. He loves Curious George and in one episode he goes to school. This is where this obsession has stemmed from. Every day he fills up his "pack pack" with books and wears it around the house begging me to take him to school. It's a little heartbreaking. I even told him he has to go on the big boy potty before he goes to school and he did! I hope his enthusiasm continues when he does finally get to go!

Holy Crackers

These two can create some serious messes! They are trouble together! I only fear it's going to get worse! I am happy they love each other so much though. I know someday I will look back and laugh at their craziness.

The Little Things

It's the little things that make me so happy! I love being able to stay at home and be with these two little gems every day! So thankful for a husband who works hard to make it happen.

Girls Weekend

I was able to go down to Mesquite with a bunch of wonderful ladies to play in a bunco tournament for breast cancer. It was seriously a blast! I don't remember the  last time I laughed that hard. It was nice to get a break and actually sleep in for once! I did miss my boys though! I think they had a blast between awesome family and a wonderful husband! Such a fun weekend!

It worked out nicely where I was able to watch my mother in law run the St. George marathon while I was there. I felt bad because I was the reason she ran it this year. I signed up and made her sign up with me. Unfortunately I injured my knee and couldn't do it. She is awesome and beat her time from last year! She is amazing and some day I will run it with her!
(Look how cute she is!)

Towel Boy

Madden loves his hooded towel. He thinks its pretty awesome to walk around with just his towel on. When he gets out of the tub he turns around and says "back the truck up" and than runs wild in his towel on! This happens every single day! It makes me smile at how much joy it brings him!
Here he is in time out! I couldn't help but think he looked so cute sitting in the corner in his little towel!

Look at me mom

I was doing dishes when I heard madden yell look at me mom. He had discovered how to get the lotion out of the bottle and had applied in generously all over. The best part is we had errands to run and so he rocked the awesome hair! This kid keeps me on my toes!
