Motherhood

This mom business is tricky stuff. There are some days where I feel like I am super mom and others where I want to lock myself in a closet and eat a whole sleeve of Oreos. Or a family size bag of Doritos. Or both. Some days I let the TV entertain my two toddlers for an embarrassing amount of time. I often pour a large pile of puffs on the floor to distract my kids so I can use the bathroom without peering eyes or awkward questions. There are days where I feel like my two year old spends more time in time out than out of it. I feel as though I scream more than I talk. I truly don't remember what sleep is. My body is cover in glorious stretch marks and I will never be able to jump on a trampoline again. Somedays my kids only eat fruit snacks, and I let them.

My boys have changed my world.  They have taught me that even on my horrible mom days they still love me. I feel so blessed to be their mom. I feel like I need to soak up every single second with them before they grow up and stop giving me smoochie kisses. I love how they always make sure I buy the princess fruit snacks and how they always grab me one in the morning so I can have breakfast in bed. I love that madden always grabs an extra treat for Nash when he leaves dance class. I love when they all climb in Owens crib in the morning and giggle. I love how they always tell me I am the perfect mom for them. I love hearing them talk about Jesus and how he made planet earth and all the buggies. They are so Christlike and innocent. They make the good days outweight the bad. Motherhood is a tricky business, one that I'm still trying to figure out. I love it though. I thank my Heavenly Father everyday for three beautiful healthy boys.

Rub a dub dub

I bathe Owen in the sink a lot because it is easy and the perfect size! Everytime I do it kills Nash. He slowly makes his way in every time! I can bribe Nash with a sink bathe always! Madden than likes to join in too! I love it!

Provo Rec

Kaydee invited us to the Provo Rec and we loved it! It is such a fun place. They had a little lazy river and the boys would of spent hours in it! We will be goin back for sure!

Logan

We finally made it up to Logan to visit the Edwards back in their new old home! We went up for Nixons fifth birthday! It was a lot of fun and I don't think we had a minute of down time! My boys were in heaven and can't wait to go back even if it was a long drive! We had a lot of fun and miss having them here in nephi. I know we will be going back soon!

Ear Tubes

Owen went in today to get tubes in his ears. He has had five double ear infections. It was sad to hand him over to the OR ladies but I knew he was in great hands! We love the Nephi hospital. Karsons Aunt Melinda was with him while he was being put under which was such a comfort knowing he had someone who loves him! He did great. They said his ears were horrible, poor guy! He had a hard time waking up and threw up and few times all over me. He is doing great now! Hopefully he will finally have some relief and will help him sleep through the night now!

Eight months

Owen is eight months old. He is growing up so fast. He seems to want to grow up faster than I want him to. I think he tries to keep up with his older brothers. He has four teeth ready with four more coming through. He can wave and dance like no ones business. He says mama dada and hi. He loves his brothers to death. He especially loves Madden dearly. He is starting to pull himself up in furniture. He is truly so happy. His smile is amazing. He has turned into quite the mommas boy. He doesn't love baby food and wants everything we are eating. He is such a joy to have!
