This is what I see quite often lately happening at my house and it makes me oh so happy! These two LOVE each other like crazy! Madden is always laying on him, giving him hugs and kisses. Whenever we head out the door he is so afraid we are going to leave Nash that he tries to pick him up and carry him! Nash could watch Madden all day. I am so happy they are starting to interact and play with each other!

The other day I was doing dishes and looked down and noticed Madden with part of my pump! The funny thing is I don't hardly ever pump and if I do its when he is sleeping. I guess it just takes seeing things a few times cause he knew exactly what to do!

Nash turned 4 months old a few weeks ago. I am behind but better late than never right! This little guy is such a joy to have in our family. At first I thought Heavenly Father had a funny sense of humor when I found out I was pregnant but now I know we needed him in our family. I needed him here. He is the most easy going baby you will ever meet. He is so happy. He hardly ever cries unless he is hungry. He has slept through the night from day one until a few days ago! I am hoping its just a little stage he is going through! He loves to talk and talk and talk. He is a noisy little fella but I think he has to be if he wants to be heard in this family! He smiles so easy. I have honestly seen so many blessings happen since he has come into our home. He truly has a unique spirit about him. He loves his older brother and loves to watch him play. We love our little Nash and are so excited to see his personality keep develpoing over the next few months! Happy four months Nasher bug. We love you!

On New Years Eve we went bowling with my family. It was fun except for we had my crazy sleep deprived one year old who didn't find it quite as fun. We ended up strapping him in a stroller and pushed him around til he feel asleep. My brother came down from Boise and so it was fun to be all together!

I was trying to hold off on the rice cereal as long as I could because its just another thing to add to my ever crazy life. Nash has been spitting up like crazy all of a sudden and I have read that rice cereal helps. I decided to give it a try and see if it would help. Well Nash was not a fan. He keep making gagging sounds. Madden on the other hand loved it and finished the bowl. Ha ha I am pretty sure he was just jealous! Looks like I will be waiting after all! Love my little man!

Madden loves to watch for Karson out our big window. Last night he had me pull up a chair and sat and played with his little toy for about 15 minutes. He keep saying da da go? He would put his hands up like he was asking a question. It was super cute. He gets so excited when he hears Karson pull up. I love how much he loves his daddy and how much Karson loves him!

Christmas Day!

This year we slept over at my mom's house with my sister Nikki and her family! It was so much fun! These babies were seriously spoiled! We woke up at 7 and headed down to open presents. Santa sure spoiled us this year!

After my moms house we came back down to Nephi and went over to Pooper and Papa's house and got spoiled some more. Than headed to Connie and Georges. I have no clue why I have no pictures of the rest of the night. For some reason we filmed and took no pictures.

It was such a good Christmas. Madden finally got the idea that if he opened up a present he would be getting a new toy! He would yell WOW! It was so much fun. I love having kids. Nash was just his cute little happy self! We for sure had a very Merry Christmas!

We woke up on Christmas Eve and let Madden have a cupcake for breakfast. He loved it! After breakfast we went over to Karson's Aunts house and had a little lunch with Grandpa Kay. After lunch we went home and let the boys nap and set up one of Maddens Christmas presents that Santa dropped off early. Wow we wish Santa had left a few elves to help with the set up but it was so worth it because Madden LOVED it! After the boys woke up we were off to Grandma Reds to party. It was so much fun and we had a good time as always. We left there and headed up to my parents to spend the night! Madden didn't get to bed til 11! We had an awesome Christmas Eve!

Disneyland Surprise!

We just got back from the most magical place on earth! It was even more magical not knowing we were going. We had a small trip planned to St. George for the weekend. The morning we were leaving Karson had me open up a present. It was a flip camera and he said your going to need it because we are going to Disneyland! I started crying I was so excited. I hurried and repacked a few things and we were off! The best part is we gave Grandma Red a call a half hour before we left and she decided to come along on our adventure! We made the long trip down and went to Disneyland for three days and than made the long trip back! The boys did so good in the car. We had a blast. It is seriously more magical when you have kids. Madden loved every single part of Disneyland except waiting in lines. He would light up and get so excited over every little thing. His favorite ride was The Little Mermaid. He loved the pictures on the construction walls in California Adventure. He was obsessed with the Carrousel. Nash was amazing and loved looking at all the lights. His favorite ride was its a small world. I will never ever forget our little family trip. It was amazing and so magical. Thank you thank you Karson for taking us!

Where does the time go?

My little guys are growing up so fast! It is so crazy how fast time goes. I love being a mom to these two little fellas! Our life is a little crazy but they make it 100 percent worth it.

Nash is now 3 months old. He is the sweetest baby you will ever meet! I feel beyond lucky at how good he is! He is the happiest little guy. He loves when people talk to him. He coo's like crazy. He is starting to laugh. He loves Madden and will watch him all around the room. He loves his hands, especially his thumb (ah!). He goes to bed at 6:30 and will sleep anywhere for 5:30 to 6:30, eat and than go back to sleep for an hour! He hardly ever cries. He loves bath time. I am so happy this little guy came when he did. I know he was meant to be here in our family at this time. His little spirit is amazing. He brings so much joy and love into our home. I thank Heavenly Father daily for knowing that we needed him so soon!

Madden is 16 months old and is as wild as ever! This boy never stops! He is turning into a little boy and no longer my baby. He is starting to talk a whole lot more. He says everything is hot and blows on it. His other famous line is I stuck. He knows most of his animals sounds. His personality has really come out these past few months. He has quite the little sense of humor. He also has quite the little temper. He loves Nash like crazy. He will squat down and talk to him all day long. When I need a minute I will put a little movie on for them and he will sit and hold Nash's hand. He will pet him and say soft all day long. When he is tired he is tired and just wants in his crib. He gathers up his blankets and walks into his room and tries to climb into his crib. He is an early riser. He is a picky eater. He still loves his milk. He loves to watch his shows. Madden keeps our house going and we love it!

We live in a big field which means mice are pretty inevitable. I have put a few sticky traps out because the weather is getting colder and I want to be prepared! We keep them out of Maddens reach but apparently he figured out how to get to a few! They were stuck to the bottom of his feet and he was not a fan. He kept telling us they were "stuck" and we couldn't help but laugh! He is by far the cutest thing we have caught on a trap!

Today was Nash's blessing day. Karson did such an amazing job giving him a name and a blessing. It is days like this that remind me how blessed I truly am. We have such amazing family and friends. Today would of been impossible without them! I am so grateful for the gospel in my life. I am so happy knowing that these little boys are mine forever! Heavenly Father has truly blessed us.

Snow Canyon 5k.

I have been wanting to do something to get me motivated to work out and loose some baby weight. Well I kind of went a bit over board and signed up for the St.George marathon next year. Gulp! I signed up for the runners series which means you have to run two races in St.George to qualify for the marathon. My sister Jami, my mother in law Connie, and my two sisters in law Kaydee and Kylee all signed up as well. We headed down Friday afternoon to run the snow canyon 5k. I don't know what I was thinking thinking I could run 3 miles without training at all! I literally thought I was having a heart attack. Between the uphills and freezing weather my chest was on fire! I can honestly say my goal was just to finish and that is just what I did. It was a fun little girls getaway! Next time I will train though that is for sure!

Yup. We have a crib in our dinning room. Why you ask. Because of that cute face below!

If you look real close you can see spots on Maddens face and hands. Last week he had a fever and was super clingy. I thought maybe he was just cutting teeth until he woke up with spots everywhere. We took him in on Saturday to find out he had an ear infection and a lovely little thing called hand mouth and foot. Luckily we got some antibiotics for the ear infection and was told to stay home for hand mouth and ear because its very contagious. Well try keeping a 1 year old away from a newborn. This was our quick fix! Its a little white trash but it works! Luckily we have kept Nash away and he has not caught it yet. Unfortunately we spent a few hours with my sister and her kids before we knew he had it and now all her kids have it too. Sorry Jami! I guess its the gift that keeps on giving.

One of my favorite things to do is take a bath. I think I have passed that on down to my little guys. They quite enjoy the tub. Madden would stay in there for hours if I let him. Every morning I put both of them in the tub because it is so much easier and faster that way. I had to snap a picture of Nash in his towel and remembered I had one of Madden just like it. I love to compare pictures of them at the same age!

Madden was quite entertained by the white stuff falling from the sky! He sat and watched it fall for a good hour and laughed. I on the other hand sat and watched it fall and cried. I am not ready for it.

My little men were cows this Halloween. I loved it! Madden on the other hand not so much. He liked his cow costume but HATED his hood on. Oh well he still looked cute! We went and visited the grandmas and than went up to Santaquin to just a few houses. Madden liked going to the door and getting a treat but he thought he had to eat that treat right away. He seriously loves candy. He is just like his momma! Nash was so good and just hung out in the stroller. After we went and had some goodies at my sister in law Kaydees house. It was a good Halloween!

Madden is all boy. He loves getting dirty and playing with bugs. He thinks passing any kind of gas is hilarious. He is obsessed with anything balls and trucks. He watches football with his dad. His most favorite thing is being outside. He brings me his shoes and makes me put them on and than sits in front of the door and begs (okay whines!) to go outside. He would be out there all day long if I let him. Since we don't have grass yet, he plays in the dirt. I think he would prefer it over grass any day. Its kind of nice because he sits and stirs the dirt around and throws rocks for hours. Madden and the word sit still don't usually go in the same sentence so its awesome! We will be sad when it starts snowing.

Nash is two months old if you can believe it! Feels like he has been in our lives forever. I don't really remember life without him and I love it that way. He is seriously the BEST. BABY. EVER! He is so content all the time and hardly ever cries. He has slept through the night since he was 3 weeks old. (Talk about a blessing!) He gibbers and coos all day long. He smiles so easily. He loves to stare at people. Loves to have his cozy by his head to sleep. Looks exactly like his daddy. Loves to lick his hands. I know Nash was supposed to come when he did. Life is a little crazy but honestly I wouldn't trade it for anything. He is such a blessing in our lives. Heavenly Father knows what he is doing that is for sure! I love my boys more than anything in this world. I got so lucky!

A boys best friend

We went to the Juab football game two Fridays ago and Madden came home with a new best friend. I was hoping this new best friend would slowly lose its float but here we are two weeks later and its still flying high. Madden thinks it has to go every where with him including eating and the tub. He loves it and give it many kisses. I have thought about setting it free but he loves it too much!

Madden is 15 months now and is as big as ever. He is seriously so funny and keeps us on our toes. He is getting into everything all the time. I hear "I stuck" all day long. He is always going a 100 miles an hour and never stops! It is fun watching him grow and learn new things everyday. He is talking like crazy and has his own little language. He is so sweet with Nash and I often walk in on him giving him kisses or crouched over smiling and gibbering to him. He still is a Mickey Mouse addict. Has quite a temper. Loves being outside. Is the worst eater ever. Loves milk to the point where we have to limit him. Still goes to bed at 7. He is the best kisser ever! He is the best little buddy. Life is crazy with Madden but we wouldn't have it any other way!

The boys and I headed down to St.George last Wednesday with my sister and her kids. The trip down was a success with 5 kids under the age of 7. The reason we went down was to cheer on my sister Jami and my mother in law Connie who were crazy enough to run the marathon. We decided to go down a bit early since the boys were hunting. My parents have a small house down there that we love to stay at. Unfortunately I am pretty sure we wont be invited back anytime soon. Madden was up at 5 everyday and let everyone know it! Holy cow. Despite the little sleep it was still fun. I am lame and didn't take any pictures of the marathon or the time we spent with the Morgans. I will have to steal some from Connie and my sisters camera but here are the ones I did take.

We went to eat at the Pizza Factory with the Morgans. Madden feel asleep like 2 minutes before we got there. Suprsingly he stayed asleep so we just made him a little bed in the corner. I tell ya it was those early mornings! Little guy was exhausted by the end of the day.

It was so hot so my mom got the hose out and the kids just ran and played in it for a good hour. Madden thinks he is a big kid and tried to keep up with Ryder and Mac.

I am not sure why these are backward but on the way home from our walk Madden crashed. He never does this but than again he doesn't usually get up at 5 every morning either.

Our good friend Nat took the boys pictures right after Nash was born. It was quite the experience to say the least. Between both boys they pooped seriously about 15 times and that only counts the times they were in diapers. Nash proceeded to poop all over Nat's props and Karson. When he pooped on Karson, Nat and I just laughed as we watched Nat's husband Colby and Karson clean it up. Than we look over and Madden is peeing all over her parents fireplace. Oh good times. Also, Madden was in a seriously bad mood and wanted nothing to do with Nash. Despite the poop and the anger I am so happy at how they turned out! Thanks Nat!

Seriously can you believe Nash is one month old already. Time sure flies around here! He is the best little baby. So content and hardly ever cries. When he is hungry or has a dirty diaper her grunts. He still isn't a fan of sleeping in his pack and play but we are working on it. He gets up about 2 a night which isn't horrible but he isn't the best at going back to sleep. We are working on that also! He is the cuddliest baby ever. He snuggles right up and I am loving it. I finally have a boy in the house who likes to cuddle. Its fantastic! He has just started smiling and I love it. It melts your heart! I know this little boy needed to be in our family at this time. I thank my heavenly father daily for the amazing blessing he has been in our life and for the amazing blessing of having two healthy little boys. Life is amazing! Happy one month Nash!

14 months

My little man feels no longer little these days! He is getting so big. He is turning more into a toddler everyday now. He is a little pistol and keeps us on our toes all day long. He goes and goes and goes. He makes us laugh all day long. He repeats most words we say to him. He thinks every animal moo's. He loves loves loves dogs. He gives lots and lots of kisses. He loves his milk. He can make a mess in a minute. He is 100% boy. Loves being a big brother, sometimes too much! Thinks he can swim in the bath tub. Loves to tickle toes. Favorite thing for breakfast right now is Special K. Can still eat fruit with the best of them! Thinks talking on the phone is awesome. Is obsessed with Mickey Mouse anything.

because if you do I can lend you a crazy one year old! Oh how I love my little boy but he sure knows how to make a mess in two seconds flat! Madden is a ball of fire. He never stops moving, ever! He go go go's all day long but I wouldn't want him any other way!

I can't get enough of my boys! I absolutely love them! I look at them and can't get over how lucky I am to be a mom to them. I always heard you will never know what love is until you have kids and I can honestly say it is true. I would do anything for these little guys.

Having two kids has been quite a change around here! Some days I think I got it down, while others I want to go back to bed and start the day over! I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world though. When I had Madden it was so nice to be able to leave him on the couch, in the swing, or under his hanging toys. That is not the case with Nash! We have a big brother who loves to give way to many kisses and tries to play trucks with Nash! The other day I snuck into the bathroom for a second of alone time and came out to this....

Madden decided to check out the baby on his own and scooted the pillows and made steps. Needless to say we don't leave to baby alone on the couch anymore when Madden is around! Still pretty cute that he loves his brother so much!

Its been hard to figure out how to spend time with Madden while taking care of a newborn. I forget how much work a newborn is! I am so thankful to Karson though for helping out. I don't know how people do it on there own.

My mom came down today to help me out and so I could see Madden. She also helped me give Nash his first little bath at home! I was looking back through the camera and was shocked at how much Nash looks like Madden. We pulled out Maddens first bath pictures and couldn't help but laugh at how much they look alike. Our little guy finally decided it was time to come. It was very unexpected like it has been from the beginning but we are absolutely in love with him in every single way. Here is Nash’s story.

I had a regular appointment on Monday morning and right before I got a call from Grandma Red asking if she could come over and watch Madden so I didn’t have to worry about taking him with me. I almost said no because my appointments are usually quick but for some reason I took her up on it and I am so grateful I did. They were running late and so I didn’t even get to see my Doctor until an hour after my appointment. I remember thinking I am so glad I didn’t bring Madden. He checked me and I was still at a 3 and 50 percent same as last week and the week before. My Doctor had talked about starting me that night because he was leaving out of town Wednesday but still wasn’t sure so he sent me down to have a non stress test. Once again I remembering thinking I am so glad I didn’t bring Madden. About 30 minutes into the NST the nurse came in and said that the baby wasn’t cooperating and that I needed to switch positions. Ten minutes later my Doctor came in and said that I wasn’t going home and that they were starting me now and left. I started to panic not sure what was going on and I was all alone and poor Grandma Red thought she would be watching Madden for an hour not the whole day! I called Karson who was working in Salt Lake and told him to come home because they were not letting me go. It turns out it wasn’t a dyer situation with the baby but it could become one if they didn’t get the baby out. They called it variability which means the baby’s heart rate should go up and down and Nash’s wasn’t so that meant he wasn’t getting great oxygen. They started me on the pit at about noon and right away I started feeling those lovely contractions. About 2 hours into it I was thinking an epidural was sounding nice right about than. The doctor came in and checked me and I was at a 5, perfect timing for an epidural right. The doctor didn't think so. The baby's heart rate kept on doing the same thing and if it continued they were afraid they were going to have to stop the pit and I would stop dilating and have to start the whole process over in the morning or worse do a c-section. By 6:30 I was dying! I was dialated to a 7 and was given the option to go ahead and get the epidural and they would break my water but know the risk that came along with it. I went for it and am glad I did. Life was great after that and at 10:10 they checked me and I was ready to go! Boy was I ever ready to go too. I kept feeling a lot of pressure and as they were setting up I remember thinking I hope they hurry. One push later we had our amazing little boy! It all happened so fast! He weighed 7 lbs. 15 oz. and was 20 inches long. He has quite a good amount of hair and looks just like his daddy. I don't want to jinx myself but he has been the best baby so far. We have yet to really heard him cry only a few times. He is quite the eater (thank goodness!) and sleeps about 99 percent of the time. Big brother met him the next day and isn't sure what to think. He wouldn't look at him at all unless people were around than he tried to show off a little and would hug him on occasion. He didn't like me holding the baby and if i was he threw a fit and than would lounge on my lap. We had a hard time coming up with a name and about 1 hour before I was discharged we decided on Nash Karson Morgan. I feel so blessed to have two amazing healthy boys. I am so thankful to both our families who have helped out so much, especially with Madden. I don't know how it happened but I am one lucky girl to have three amazing guys in my life!

This is possibly the worst picture of me ever but its the only one I have of the before birth belly! My arms are up like that because I am apparently allergic to the tape and it was itching like crazy!

It is kind of hard to tell in the picture below but this has become Maddens new "place". If you look real close you can see a little bump in the middle of the curtain. Madden has discovered a new chair and place to play. He will sit behind the curtain for a good half hour playing and laughing!

I love this little boy. He seriously keeps me going all day but I wouldn't want it any other way! He is always laughing and smiling. It is amazing to see how smart he is getting and watching his little imagination work! I know this is almost a month ago but I don't want to forget so here is Maddens 12 month stats!

Weight: 19.12 oz.

Height: 28 3/4 inch.

He loves to make animals sounds.

He is obsessed with dogs.

He never stops moving or getting into or climbing on things.

He speaks Japanese, we think! He jibber jabbers all day long.

He no longer has a binky!

He goes to bed at 7 and sleeps til 7.

Still takes two two hour naps a day.

Says hi, hello, bye, no, yes, mom, dada, bampa, oh toodles, gog (dog), uh oh.

Is obsessed with brushing his teeth.

He has six teeth and counting. I swear a new one pops up daily.

Runs to the fridge when he wants milk.

Will run to his high chair when he is ready to eat.

Endurocross

Nephi had there first Endurocross and it was awesome. We loved it and had so much fun. My sister and her family and my parents came down too to watch which is always a treat! We can never get them to come to Nephi so we were excited! Madden loved it as much as a one year old can! He loves vroom vrooms but he loves to move more! Oh well maybe next year!

All my brothers and sisters were in town for the 24th of July! We all stayed up at my parents and had so much fun. I love when we all get together. We spent lots of time swimming in my parents pool, eating, and laughing.

We turned on the sprinklers for Lexi and Madden to run through. I can't post a picture of Lexi cause she was in the nude but she was loving it! Madden loved it as long as it didn't spray his face!

We went to Thanksgiving Point petting zoo and Madden loved it. He is obsessed with animals at the moment and making animal sounds.

Madden with his Aunt Jami! Everyone was so good and helped out with Madden a lot! He is such a busy boy and my 9 month self gets a bit exhausted after a while!

We left a little early on Saturday to go to a Morgan reunion. Karsons Great Grandma is here from California so we got all the Utah people together and had a BBQ! I can't believe I forgot my camera but Connie had hers so I will post pictures from it as soon as I steal them from her! His Grandma will be 98 and you would never know! She seriously is in better health than I am! She gets down and plays with Madden! How cool for Madden to meet his Great Great Grandma! Than on Sunday we had a little party for Madden at Connie and Georges!

Maddens Day!

Maddens Birthday was sadly on a day where everyone was gone. It was just me and the little tyke all day and I wanted to make it fun for him. We didn't do anything extra ordinary but we did have lots of fun!

We started off the day by sleeping in! He didn't wake up til 9:30 and it was fabulous!

He than ate his favorite breakfast, french toast and milk! Yum yum!

After breakfast he watched his favorite show, Mickey Mouse, in his diaper non the less!

He took a bath in bubbles. Bubbles are a luxury at our house and he loved it! I think he spent most the time eating the bubbles.

Oh and drinking the bath water!

But he did enjoy his rubber ducky!

After nap time (which was 4 hours long! Sweet!) we headed to Wendys and ate Maddens favorite meal, chicken nuggets!

The Ute Stampede

Our favorite time of the year has come and gone. We soaked up every second we possibly could of the Ute Stampede! We started off Wedsnday night by going down to see all the live stock at the fair grounds. Madden loved seeing all the animals. Than on Thursday we got up and watched the wild horses come down main street. Madden loved it and I am glad I took him even if it was 30 seconds long. That night we went to dinner with Karsons family and some of there friends from Manti. Madden sat the whole time eating a lemon. Crazy boy. Than we headed to the Rodeo. Madden did pretty good given the fact that it was way past his bedtime. He liked watching the animals and especially loved the motorcycles. Friday we hit up the parade and than had a BBQ with some of our good friends. Grandma Red was so kind and asked if she could watch Madden while we went to the Rodeo. It was nice to spend some time just Karson and I and not wrestle a 1 year old! Saturday we hit up the car show and walked around the shops. It was so hot so we got a slurpee. Well I think Madden enjoyed it more than I did. He drank my whole drink! We of course went to the Rodeo for the last night! Madden was a trooper through the whole weekend. He did really good as long as Karson and I were in his sight! I can't wait til next year!

The fourth weekend

We seriously had a blast over the fourth. I don't think we ever slowed down a bit. We spent Saturday at the park in Nephi at the carnival and than headed up the canyon to do some camping with Karsons extended family. We didn't stay the night but came home late. Madden loved it! He loved being able to crawl around and loved all the attention for the cousins! Monday we went on a 4 wheeling ride up to six mile pond to do some fishing with the Jones's. It was quite the trip with Madden in the rain and me being large and in charge but we made it! The way back Madden feel asleep at the beginning of the ride which made the ride ten times easier. Sadly I am still sore from that ride! It was a blast and hopefully Madden will love the 4 wheeler a little bit more next time! After we headed to Uncle Mikes house to have the best seat in town to watch the Fireworks. Madden loved watching the fireworks and just sat there and even feel asleep at the end. We wore the poor kid out but I am pretty sure he had fun on his first fourth of July!

Girl Getaway!

All the ladies in the Kay family headed down to St.George for the weekend. It was a blast! We always have such a good time when we get together and laugh non stop! Madden, the lucky duck, was the only boy who was able to join in on the festivities. I don't think he has ever gotten so much love and attention in all his life. We drove down Saturday and went to Grease at the Tuachan. Sunday we just hung around, swam, and played games. Monday we shopped til we dropped. Tuesday we headed home. In between we played fun games, talked, laughed, and ate a lot. I always look forward to this trip and can't wait til next year. I was horrible at taking pictures but at least I documented some of it!

We have seriously been loving this warm weather. I have been trying to do some fun things with Madden before our life gets a little bit more crazy in a couple of months. We have been hit up the Payson pool a few times but when we can't make it up there we go to our own little retreat in our back yard. I went and bought a blow up pool. BIG mistake! They forget to tell you that you have to blow up the blow up pool. Lets just say it took me about 4 hours of huffing and puffing before this beauty was up. Needless to say we are making the most of it and are out there almost everyday! So if you drive by and are curious if we have a beached whale in our backyard,no worries, its just me trying to cool off!

Madden has turned into quite the little climber and tries to climb up on everything. He has an obsession with this stool. Only problem is once he is up he can't get down so he either screams or falls backwards which results in more screaming. I turned it around hoping he would stop but he found another way to climb up and made a seat out of it! Little stinker.

Every morning when Karson leaves for work Madden cries for a good five minutes. He usually stands at the gate and screams Da Da forever. It is the saddest but cutest thing. Boy sure loves his dad!

Oh and have I mentioned Madden is walking! He started a few weeks ago but recently has really taken off! It is so funny to watch him wobble everywhere. If he is in a big hurry he crawls but other than that he walks like crazy. My little guy is getting so big! This isn't the best picture of him walking because every time I try to take a picture he falls. Go figure!

My mom watched Madden last friday night while Karson and I went out. They have a dog that Madden loves. Harley (the dog) has a big pillow bed that Madden loves. Ever since than he has had an obsession with pillows. I love this picture because he looks so big watching his cartoons!

Oh how I love a sleeping baby! All the summer craziness has worn this little guy out!

Clint Black Concert

Every year for Eagle Mountain Days they throw on a pretty awesome concert. We have gone the last three years and have loved it. This year Clint Black came to town and he did not disappoint. The only disappointing thing about the night was no snow cone stand or kettle popcorn like last year. Lame. Oh well the free boxes of Little Ceasers at the end made up for it. We went with my sister and brother in law Court again and had a blast. The best part is people watching. There are some crazy people out there. Last year we laughed so hard at a lady up front who was shaking it all night long. Much to our surprise she was back! We called her big red and had to get some photos. Best part is my sister saw her at Walmart the next day wearing the exact same outfit. Too funny.

Parduhn Family Reunion

We were down in St. George this past week for a Parduhn Family get together! It was a BLAST! My gramps has a house right down by Sand Hollow that they rent out and we were lucky to stay there for a few days! Lets just say we lived in luxury for the past couple of days. The house was amazing. Karson and I were lucky and scored the master bedroom. I sadly didn't get any pictures of the house for some reason but trust me when I say amazing. We had a fabulous vacation and I didn't want to come home. Sadly all things must come to an end but we are looking forward to next year already!

We left Wednesday night after work around 6 hoping to get there before it was late. I had Karsons car all packed and ready to go. I even got the oil changed and washed his car. We got on the freeway and Karsons car was acting funny. About 3 miles outside Nephi his car told us to pull over immediately and shut the engine down. Luckily my brother was 3 minutes behind us and pulled over to help. We called our friends and they towed us back into town and we ended up taking Connie and Georges car. We later found out that it was something they did when we changed the oil. I am just glad it was right outside Nephi. We didn't end up leaving til 9 but we finally made it!

We relaxed most of Thursday. We did venture out for a short four wheeling ride. We picked the wrong time of day to go and it was extremely hot so we didn't last long. I didn't get any pictures of this day because I forgot my darn camera. There was a big theater room and we watched some movies and had a good day!

Friday we headed to Zions and hiked around a bit and had a picnic in the park. Again it was pretty hot but Zions is beautiful and we had a good time. We did the weeping rock hike and it was nice to get cooled off by the water at the top. That night we played glow in the dark bocce on the golf course behind my grandpas house.

One morning I woke up to these two on the top of the roof drinking hot chocolate. They were early risers. McCord kept telling Kars the view was beautiful. Every morning Mac would ask if they could drink hot chocolate together on the "view".

Saturday we woke up early and went to the shooting range to shoot clay pigeons. Karson was looking forward to this ALL MONTH long! It was so much fun and lets just say some of the girls in my family are pretty dang good shots. After shooting we went on a hike and climbed to a waterfall and played in the water. It felt so nice to be in the water. Madden loved in and screamed the whole time to be in the water. I don't blame him, it was hot. That night my gramps had dinner catered for us and it was fabulous!

Karson and Kylee ran in the dirty dash yesterday up at Soilder Hollow. It is a 5k through some serious obstacles and crazy mud. It was so fun to go up and watch. Lets just say I don't think I have seen so many muddy smelly people in my life. They did awesome! It was a perfect sunny day and a fun race to watch! Karson said it was a lot harder than the normal 5k but so glad he did it and can't wait to do the one in September!

10 months old!!

This cute face turned 10 months on the 20th! He is growing up so fast! He is seriously so much fun these days. His little personality is developing. I swear he is the happiest little guy around. Here are some things about Madden this month.

He finally says da da and ma ma. He also says hi, hey, and as of today uh oh! He also fake sneezes.

He loves to play patty cake and claps at everything.

Will only watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse . We have tried to get him to watch some of our favorite Disney favorites but only Mickey will hold his attention.

Loves to dance when music comes on.

His two bottom teeth decided to finally make an appearance on mothers day.

He still loves his sleep time. Takes about 2 two hour naps a day and goes to bed at 7. He usually wakes up about 7:30 or 8.

Can eat his own weight in fruit.

Has turned into such a mommas boy. I think he knows his world is about to change in a few months!

Stands up every where and walks along furniture. He has taken about 5 steps by himself but its only when he is distracted. When we try to walk with him he looks like a drunken sailor!

Loves to pull toys in and out of his toy box.

Absolutely loves his dad. Every morning he wakes up he will crawl around the house saying da da until he realizes he is not home.

Makes the funniest/cutest facial expressions.

We are so in love with this little boy. He seems like he has been in our lives forever. I know he is ours for a reason and I am so happy that he is ours forever. He keeps our lives busy and interesting that is for sure. Happy 10 months little man! We love you.

Putting my present to good use!

I have wanted a bike trailer for some time now! I have been browsing KSL looking for a cheap one but they are so hard to come by. Luckily, we found one at Costco for a really good price. Sadly they were all sold out at every Costco we went to. Luckily my sister found one in St.George and we were good to go! Karson so kindly bought it for my birthday! BEST PRESENT EVER! Madden and I used it today for the first time and loved it! He giggled the entire time. We went to the park and had a picnic with Ashlyn, Natalie, and Chan. Not only is it nice to get out but I'm hoping it will help me get into a little bit more shape before I have the baby! Thanks Kars!

Wedding weekend!

My brother got married this last Wednesday. It was beautiful despite all the rain! It didn't let up and by the end of pictures we were all soaking wet! Sadly I didn't take any pictures of the wedding but I did get a few of the rest of the week. It was so much fun to have all the family in town. Thursday we were all so tired we had a movie night at my moms. Friday we went to the Kangaroo Zoo. Madden loved it for the most part. We had a blast and Madden loved loved loved playing with all his cousins.

We look back and all three babies were gathered around the cookie jar shoving there mouths full of cookies. Some how Ryder got the jar and opened it and decided to share with Lexi and Madden.

Madden sure enjoyed himself though. This boy can eat!

We are LOVING this warm weather! It is so nice to get out of the house and do something different. We are so lucky and have a park just a block away and I have a feeling we will be spending a bunch of time there this summer. Madden enjoyed crawling around and even got brave and tested out the grass! I love days like these!

This handsome cowboy threw up on me in the middle of Sacrament meeting today. It was a joyous occasion. Karson was on-call today and of course got called in right at the beginning so I got to wrestle the little one all on my own. For some reason he was being extra cuddly and so good and I couldn't figure out why. He started to fuss and I figured he was just hungry since it was almost lunch. I get out some puffs and raise it up and that's when I caught the goods. I wont go into details but lets just say it was all over me and all over him. I got up and walked out, cleaned up what I could and bee lined it home! I didn't even go back into the chapel to see what mess he left I was so mortified! Oh what a day!

We got a horse! Okay, so we kind of got a horse. We have a pretty big yard that consist of lots and lots of weeds. Our neighbors across the street asked if they could help us contain our lovely lawn by letting there horses eat our weeds! We of course said yes! I feel like I fit into Nephi now! We took Madden out there and he wasn't so sure about him. Hopefully he will warm up to him seeing that this big guy will be around for a few weeks!

Our Easter weekend

This Easter was spent much differently than what we had planned. As I said in my last post we spent much of it in the ER getting Madden some fluids through IV. We finally figured out what was wrong with the poor little guy. He has viral pneumonia. I know I said in my last post it was ruled out but I guess he was so dehydrated that it didn't show up on the x-ray. We had to go back in on Saturday to do the fluids again. Gosh it is crazy what a little refill can do. He was a total different baby. Friday he just laid there but Saturday we had to get a bit creative and try to entertain a 9 month old for a few hours. Thank goodness for Mickey Mouse and Graham crackers.

We spent the rest of Saturday at home just hanging out and watching movies with our little guy. We had to forgo all the family actives we had that day but it was kind of fun just being with our family of 3. We don't get to spend THAT much quality time with each other. By 4 we all had cabin fever and had to get out. Karson's Aunts and Uncles were camping just outside of Nephi so we went up and had dinner. Madden and I spent most of our time in the trailer but it was nice just to get out of our home.

We woke up and had a little Easter egg hunt for Madden at our house. We didn't really hide the eggs but he just enjoyed playing with them all over the floor.

Than I made a delicious breakfast. Kars was very surprised so I had to document it!

Madden was acting much better and was no longer contagious thanks to antibiotics so we headed over to Connie and Georges for our Easter baskets. We all got spoiled.... even the baking baby! Madden found his basket!

We than headed over to pooper and papas house for our favorite hunt! During dinner Madden had a code brown and needed a bath. After that we went on our hunt. Madden made out with quite the loot! He came in 2nd for the most money! Wahoo!

I hate having a sick baby but love how cuddly my boy has been! Now that he is feeling a little better he thinks he has to be constantly touching me. Not that I don't love it but I'd like to use the bathroom by myself! I look down and this is what I see. I'm just glad he is on the mend!

It was a great weekend despite the sickness. I love Easter for so many reasons. I love being reminded of the Saviors love that he has for each of us. I am so thankful that he died for us so that we can live with him again. That my little family can be sealed forever. I couldn't imagine living any other way.

As I mentioned in my last post Madden hasn't been feeling real well. Well last night was horrible so we took him in this morning. We went to the clinic and the doctor looked at Madden and sent him straight to the ER. They hooked him up to an IV and did many test to figure out whats wrong. I'm so happy Karson worked in Nephi today so he could take his xray and be there with me. Luckily RSV and Pneumonia were ruled out. He has a high fever that wont go down which was making them nervous. It broke my heart to see my little guy in so much pain. He just laid there while they poked and prodded. Luckily we got to go home but get to go back tomorrow for more IV fluids. Poor kid can't get better. So we will be spending our Easter weekend at home hopefully getting better!

This beautiful blue eyed boy is 9 months old. Time doesn't seem to slow down around here. It seems like it was just yesterday I was trying everything to get him out and here we are just 3 months shy of his 1st birthday. Maddens personality is really starting to develop. He is seriously the happiest little baby around unless he is tired. If you have not noticed he loves him some food. He could eat and eat and eat. He is really busy and keeps me going all day long. Now that he is crawling he is into everything and anything he can get his hands on. He loves to pull himself up on everything. He loves bathes only if I am in with him now. If not he pulls on my arm to try to get me to come in. He is a serious Mommas boy. When you tell him no he thinks its the end of the world. He loves swinging himself in his jumper. Still an amazing sleeper and goes to bed between 6:30 and 7 and wakes up around 7 or 7:30. He loves to clap and say yay! He just learned how to do patty cake. He says yay, hey, and hi. He will not say ma ma or da da for the life of him! Whenever we work on it with him he just laughs. He gets so excited when Karson comes home. He is really the light of our lives. I thank Heavenly Father every day for letting him come to our home. He has brought so many blessing into our lives. We love you Madden boy! Happy 9 months!

I just had to post this sad sad picture. For some reason this boy has had a rough winter and is sick again. We just cant shake the cold around here. I feel so helpless but honestly I cant resist this little face.

Weekend at Nanis

We spent most of the weekend up at my moms just hanging out and playing with cousins that we have not seen in a while. It was so much fun. Madden loves watching all of his older cousins play. He just sits and laughs at them most the time. It was a great way to spend the weekend!

My little man is officially crawling! He started crawling on Saturday night! It is so funny to watch him go all over the place. Even though he is now into everything he is much happier and content! He is getting so big! Madden stop growing up so fast!

Its been a rough day for Madden. He has an obsession with cords these days! Well of course he does they have warning labels on them that make one fantastic tag! I walk out of the room for one minute and come back and he has them in his mouth. We have a space heater in our living room and our laptop and he is obsessed with it them both! He rolls and scoots his way over and will reach under the couch to get to them. I am pretty sure he knows he shouldn't touch them because he looks at me first before doing it! I tell him no and he pouts for seriously a good 5 minutes. I finally took them out and he has been crying ever since. I think we may be in trouble!

Its a good thing I am head over heels for this cute face!

It makes you appreciate rare moments like this! Thank goodness for Mickey Mouse!

Madden had a lot of first this weekend...

First hair cut

I can't believe my baby is old enough to get a hair cut! He was in need of a trim so I took him to cookie cutters. Cost an arm and a leg but the lady did so good with Madden. He was in heaven and just watched Mickey Mouse and only cried when she trimmed around the ears. I cried a little as she cut those little baby hairs off! Makes me sad he is growing up but he looks like a stud!

First time in big boy undies.

Wait let me rephrase that. Big bear undies! Aunt Ky undressed her build a bear and decided to dress up Madden. I think he looks like such a big boy in his big boy underoos! I love how tight they are, especially around those chunky thighs!

First time cuddling with dad.

Madden does not cuddle. I have been very lucky and gotten a few cuddle sessions with the boy when he was sick or if he is extremely tired but even than its rare. Karson has yet to receive the love until tonight! Madden goes to bed pretty early but we were over at Kars parents watching the final four games tonight so he was up way past bed time. He was so tired that he just laid on Kars and held still for a good 45 minutes. Not going to lie I was pretty jealous but glad Kars finally got some good quality cuddle time in with his boy!

Oh and Madden crawled a little ways today! Wasn't much but we were pretty excited!

I love that this little guy is my wake up call every morning, even if some days its a little earlier than id like! Nothing better than walking into the room and greeted by this cute face!

We finally had to lower his crib. He is a crazy sleeper. He can't quite stand up by himself just yet but we are afraid that it will be any day now.

I seriously can't believe that I have a 8 month old. Honestly time is flying by like crazy. I know I say it a lot but I love this little guys more and more everyday. He seriously keeps us laughing and smiling. It is fun to watch him learn and grow. Here are some things this little guy is doing at 8 months. He laughs at anything and everything. He still loves baby food. He is yet to crawl. He has mastered the art of rolling and pulls on the carpet to change directions. I think he thinks this is all he needs to get around. He is a busy busy fella and is always going going going. Still loving Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Still loves to take naps and goes to bed at 7 and sleeps til 7. Loves being outside. He is finally starting to give kisses but count yourself lucky if you get one! He could live in the bathtub if I let him. He is a flirt with the ladies. His favorite thing in the world is still his monkey. I love that everyday is a new adventure with him.

Madden also experienced a first this last week and got a lovely ear infection on top of having bronchitis again and RSV. I have to say that this past week has been hard for me seeing this little guy in so much pain. He ran a fever and just laid his head on my shoulder for two days straight. I knew something was wrong because he never does that! We were staying at my moms so we took him up to the doctor up there. Thank goodness for modern medicine is all that I can say. Even though he isn't 100 percent yet he is smiling again. All I can say is I will be so grateful for when cold/flu/rsv season is over.

Madden took a tub in my moms sink and thought it was pretty neat.

Nikki and Lex came up and hung out for the weekend. Sadly Madden didn't get much playing time with Lexi but were hoping next time we wont be sick!

A day at the races

This weekend we went and watched/supported my brother in law Courtney race motorcycles out in Delta. It was such a beautiful sunny day and we had a blast. Madden is such a boy and was fascinated with all the motorcycles. I tried really hard to keep sunscreen and a hat on Madden but we both came home with a little bit of a sunburn. It was fun and gets me so excited for spring/summer! We will be spending a lot of time outside that is for sure!

Days off with Karson are rare. He is a busy busy man and a hard worker at that. He left us last weekend to go to Vegas to watch BYU but he had the first part of the day off so we took some serious advantage of some time with our dad and hubby! We also took some advantage of the amazing weather we have had and went for a walk. It was beautiful and Madden loved every second of it. He was big smiles the whole time. We went and visited Pooper and Papa (Maddens g-grandparents) and were lucky enough to hang out with our cousins Ellie and Tanner. On the way home we stopped to see some horses and I think Madden thought they were pretty cool. It was a GREAT day!

These two boys are my life. They make even the hard days better. Its crazy to think that in just a short while we will be adding another boy to the mix. I love this chapter in my life and wouldn't trade it for anything.

This little guy is crazy. I love walking into his room in the morning or after a nap. This is what we usually find when we walk in.

This little guy loves food. When I am feeling like a rather nice mom I give him a graham cracker. He makes the biggest mess you can imagine but as you can tell he enjoys it rather well!

Madden Overload!!

Madden has been sick the past few weeks so we have spent some quality time indoors. Its been very tricky finding ways to entertain both of us and one thing he loves is when I whip out the camera! I am very behind in my blogging so I decided to do one big overload. This blog has turned into all about Madden. He is our whole life... and it is all about him!

This boy loves his jumper. He spins, swings, jumps, and goes crazy! One day Karson lifted it up so his feet wouldn't touch and started swinging him. Madden loved it and didn't want him to stop. I think this activity went on for about an hour! He has now learned that he can swing himself if he lifts his feet up and crosses them! He is turning into such a smart little guy!

It was raining cats and dogs outside and we were trying to make lunch and Madden wouldn't cooperate! So I whipped out the beloved bumbo (ha!) and sat him in front of the window. He sat there for a good twenty minutes watching it rain.

This boy is crazy. He thinks he has to have his hands in his mouth when he is eating. I let him go at it with a gramcracker. Not only did it end up in his mouth but his face and hair. He was rubbing it all over his cheeks. He thought he was pretty funny!

Grandma came over one night to watch the Amazing Race. Madden must of known we were out having a party without him cause he was crying and Grandma couldn't take it anymore and went and saved him. What a stinker!

Since Madden has been sick we have been giving him breathing treatments. This is the first time we did it and were excited cause he did good the first few minutes.....

but than broke down!

Last but not least.... we went to St. George a few weeks ago with my mom and dad and got to see cousin Lexi!

Picky Picky Eater

Madden loves stage 1 baby food... and that's it. I have tried to feed him some food that doesn't look like it was previously chewed but its a no go. I decided to buy some step 2 and step 3 baby food thinking that he would be in little boy heaven but instead I think I might have been feeding a demon. He threw his head back, waved his arms, hit the spoon, and I'm pretty sure threw a tantrum. If this is happening at 7 months boy were in for it. Karson calls him a Diva.

Picky eater aside I love this little boy more and more each day, which I didn't think was possible. He is seriously so funny and I am loving watching his little personality grow. We seriously just laugh at him all day! I can't believe he is going to be 7 months in two days. Its crazy to think that this little chub is going to be a big brother soon! He honestly cruises around the house rolling and scooting on his back. I think he has more red marks on his head from running into the walls and furniture than I can count. He is a busy body and is always going going going. This boy loves his bed time. He goes down at 6:30 and if its a minute late he will let you us know! He is sleeping through the night and I am so grateful. He still is obsessed with his monkey. He is the happiest guy around and laughs at just about anything. He has learned how to wave and says hey. He waves at everyone, including people on TV. Love this little chunk. Happy 7 months Madden.

Nothing better than a lazy Sunday! Madden is an amazing sleeper these days and practically begs me to put him down for a naps and bedtime. Every time we check on him this is the position he is in. He loves sleeping on his side right up against the rails. My mother in law made me the cutest bedding but I had to take out the bumpers because I am afraid he would suffocate he gets so close to the side.

Madden is just like his Mom and loves to snack! It is so nice because he is starting to feed himself. Whenever I have food he thinks he has to have food too. Whenever I get out his snacks he just starts to giggle! Boy after my own heart!

Madden has a weird obsession with tags. He some how finds tags on everything! He will turn his monkey around a million times until he finds his tag. He has a serious love for his monkey. He rubs it all over his face until he falls asleep sucking on the darn tag. He is so crazy and makes us laugh everyday!

Madden is growing up so fast! He will be six months in a few days if you can believe it! His little personality is coming through everyday and he makes me laugh constantly. He has the cutest little smile that lights up his whole face! He has just learned to sit up finally and I am loving that he can entertain himself for a few minutes. He still loves Mickey Mouse Club house. His favorite toys are the ones he can stand up in and bounce around. He is a people person and loves to be in a crowd. He loves LOVES baby food. He LOVES LOVES LOVES his bottle and screams every time he sees it. He is finally sleeping through the night. (hallelujah!) His bedtime is 6:30 and he practically begs to be put to bed. We seriously love this little boy.

The Discovery Museum

We went up to the Children museum at the Gateway. It was so much fun! My cousin and her family were in town and invited us to come along. The kids LOVED it! Madden was in heaven just watching everyone from the umbrella stroller. I don't think I heard a peep from him the whole time we were there which is very unusual from that boy! Im so glad we went up and I cant wait to take Madden back when he is a little bit older.

We brought in the New Year with our friends! We partied hard at Nat and Devs new house. We ate yummy prime rib and it was delicious! We played games and had a dance off with the WII. It was HILARIOUS! It was a work out too and by the end of it I was exhausted. I am so thankful for such good friends. We always have so much fun when we get together.

Madden would not sleep so we decided to just let him bring in the new year with us!

The year 2010 was a really good year for our family! We were blessed so much throughout the year. The best thing that happened was Madden. He has changed our life in so many ways and it only gets better and better! Karson graduated with his bachelors and passed his MRI boards. We got a laundry room. We were able to go to Disneyland with our family. I got the best job of all and get to stay home with Madden. We learned we are having another little blessing. What a great year! I am so excited to see what 2011 will bring our family. There are so many big changes coming up in our life and I welcome them!

Maddens First Christmas

We had a very Merry Christmas this year! It was fun having the little guy around to help us celebrate, even if he didn't have a clue what was going on. We got a big Christmas surprise a few days before Christmas when we found out I was pregnant... again! I don't even know why I honestly took a test except for that I had a dream the night before I was pregnant. When I took the test and that beautiful line appeared I just started crying. Karson was at work so I sent him a text and told him to call me when he was alone. I was afraid to tell him but he was so excited! Two home test and a blood test later confirmed it was true. We didn't know how far along I was but we decided to tell our families anyways and keep up the tradition of surprising them with the news on Christnmas! Karson and I thought it would be funny to find a big brother shirt and have him wear it but who makes big brother in size 5 months! We had to make a little adjustment but it worked out. We told my family first on Christmas Eve. Karson handed Madden to my mom and she kept saying what did he do, did he poop. My sister Jami just kept saying why did you change him, he looked so cute! It took a few minutes to realize it but it was great! We got the same reaction from Karsons family that night! I don't think anyone was expecting it, but honestly we weren't either. My due date is September 1 and we are honestly getting excited and used to the idea!

I think we wore Madden out on Christmas Eve cause he was still sleeping when we got up. Karson and I decided it might be nice to open up our stuff without having to wrestle with Madden and it was so nice! We had a very nice Christmas and we each got spoiled!

We finally woke Madden up at about 7:30 and it was so confused why we were waking him up. It was pretty funny! He must of been a good boy cause Santa spoiled him rotten! He didn't really care about the presents but he loved ripping the wrapping paper.

We spent the rest of the day being with our families and just enjoying each others company. It was honestly a very relaxing day. Unfortunately Santa brought me a horrible case of Mastitis and I hope I never get that again. Madden gave us the best present and sleep through the night for the first time. I think we exhausted him with two days of excitement! All in all it was a pretty good Christmas. It is crazy to think that next Christmas we will have two little ones!

Kay Family Christmas Party

It was the annual Kay family Christmas party today. We eat way too much food, eat too many sweets, see Santa, and have a good time. All the grand kids were dressed in black and red unplanned so we decided to try our hand at a photo shoot. I love trying to take all the grand kids photos. Every ones little personalities come through and each picture turned out amazing! I couldn't just pick on so I had to post them all!
