Our weekend went a little something like this!

We went boating on Saturday....

Roasted some mallows that night....

Felt like we were at Disneyland with our new toy...

Gave lots of smiles....

and took a few baths!

4 weeks old!

I cant believe my baby is already 4 weeks old. It seems like it was only yesterday that he was born. He has brought so much joy and love into our home. I honestly just stare at him and still can't believe that he is ours. He is a pretty good baby until it comes time to eat... than he lets you know he is hungry!! He is already smiling and it is the cutest thing. He loves to take a bath but hates getting out. He doesn't like being naked either. He snores in his sleep just like his daddy. We love him like crazy!

Boise Birthday Weekend!

This last weekend we packed up our stuff and headed to Boise to surprise my brother Jake for his 30th birthday! Karson had to work and we missed him greatly but we sure had a good time. We left Thursday and had the party that night. On Friday, we spent the day at the lake boating. Madden did so good and slept pretty much the whole way up and the whole way back. It is always fun to be with my family! I hope you had a good birthday Jake, you old man!

Dear Karson

In some ways I can hardly believe its been two years. In other ways I can't remember life without you. Two years ago was one of the happiest days of my life. I remember sitting in the temple thinking I was the luckiest girl in the world. From the first moment I met you I knew I was going to marry you. I have never been more happier in my life. You are such an amazing strong person. Thank you so much for loving me. Thank you for pushing me to be a better person everyday. It has been incredible watching you with our little boy. You are such an amazing dad and I am so happy that Madden and I have you in our lives. I will never forget the look on your face when you got to hold him for the first time. I was incredibly jealous of you but its a moment I wouldn't change. I love you Karson, more than you will ever know. Thank you for the best two years of my life.

Picture Perfect

We had Maddens pictures taken last week. I thought that he would be an awesome little newborn and sleep the whole time but that was not that case. He thought he was 6 months old not 6 days old! They still turned out pretty cute if I do say so myself. Here are just a few of them. Isn't he the cutest thing you ever seen!

Maddens Birth Story

My due date came and went. My Doctor is very sweet and told me that he wouldn't let me go over 40 weeks so we scheduled a day to be induced. I went in Sunday night to start the Cervadil and than they would start the pit in the morning. Karson stayed the night but didn't get much sleep because he was on call and was up working most of the night. Monday morning came and they started the pit at 7am. I was feeling pretty excited thinking that my baby would make his way into the world by 3 at the latest. Boy was I wrong! I was having contractions but they were not very consistent and I was having hardly any pain. By about 4pm I was only dilated to a 3. A stinking 3! My Doctor came in and sent everyone away for an hour in hopes that I could get some rest and start progressing. While I was trying to rest my contractions were getting stronger and were starting to hurt a little. I told Karson I was in a little bit more pain and he was thinking it was in my head because I wanted it to happen so bad but the monitor doesn't lie! The contractions were starting to become consistent and stronger. Well about 7 my Doctor checked me and I was still a 3. By this point my Doctor was suggesting that I go home and come back on Wednesday and try it all again. I did not want to go home so we decided to give it til 9 and if nothing happened I was going home. My nurse came in about 8:30 and checked me again and I was still a 3. You can't tell a pregnant women she is going home still pregnant. I lost it! I had only a half an hour to get past a 3 and it looked like I was most likely going home. My sweet sister Nikki offered to massage my back to help me relax. I guess I was relaxing to much because I thought I peed my pants. Karson went and grabbed the nurse and come to find out I didn't pee but my water broke! Looks like I wouldn't be going home! Since my water broke they decided to give me my epidural right away since I was going to have him somehow that night. I went from a 3 to a 10 in about 3 hours. I pushed for about 25 minutes and my sweet little boy was here. I didn't get to hold him right away because he wasn't breathing very well and than I started to bleed so they sent everyone out. About a half hour later I got to meet my little man. I am so thankful for the love this little guy has brought into our lives. I never knew that I could love so much.

Madden George Morgan!

Madden George Morgan is here! He came today 7/20/2010 at 1:08 A.M. He weighed in at 8 lbs. 1 oz. and is 21 inches long. He has long brown hair and chubby little cheeks. We can't get enough of him! Stay tuned for more of this little guy.....
