Our Christmas Surprises!!!

We are having a baby, but I will get to that in a minute!!!

We had a very merry Christmas this year! Once again we were spoiled rotten! Karson and I decided to have our own little Christmas on Christmas Eve since Christmas is always crazy for us! Karson surprised me with an Ipod touch! I was so excited and had no clue I was getting one. Kars got a 20 punch pass to the golf course here in Nephi. I feel bad that he has to wait til spring to use his present but if he is lucky ill let him borrow my Ipod!

After we had our own little Christmas we headed to Grandma Reds. We had soup for dinner which was delicious maticious as Luke would say! We than opened up our Christmas pj's from Grandma Red. Kars and I had to leave early so I sadly didn't get any pictures of us in our pj's.

After Reds, we headed up to spend the night at my parents house. It was the first time that all of us kids have slept under the same roof since my brother Jake got married. It was so much fun. It is a tradition for us to all get matching pj's. It was so much fun to see how excited the little kids were for Santa to come! I didn't think they would ever go to sleep! When my sister woke everyone up in the morning my nephew Matt sat up and said what the crap, I'm still asleep! It was pretty funny! It was a fun morning. Once again we were spoiled rotten! My parents got us a video camera and my very own steamer! I am already excited to get to work cleaning my house! We went and had our traditional omelets at my grandparents house and than came back and relaxed for a while. Karsons parents did Christmas for us that night which worked out really well. I almost liked it better that way because Christmas wasn't over in a few hours! Connie is very tricky and made us work hard for our presents. We are huge fans of the amazing race and so she Incorporated that into our presents. We had to figure out which presents were ours by a clue she left in our stocking. Than we had to put our presents in order in which way we thought we needed to open them. She hid little letters (and she hid them well!) in our presents and in the end we had to unscramble them. As soon as we unscrambled them we got our big present which was money to go to our Hawaii trip this Summer. We are so very excited! It was such a good Christmas!!!

The best Christmas surprise of all was telling our families we are having a baby! When we found out that I was pregnant, we decided we wanted to wait for Christmas to tell everyone. It was the hardest secret I have ever had to keep but well worth the wait! I made a little onsie that said Baby Morgan on it and got our ultra sound picture and put it in a bottle and wrapped it up. We secretly slid it in with every ones presents. My dad opened it for my family and Connie opened it for the Morgans. It was so awesome to see every one's reactions. We had thought for sure Karsons family knew I was with child since I have been a little sick and sleep all the time but they had no idea! I am eleven weeks along and due July 16! We are so excited and cannot wait to be parents!

It was a very good Christmas... maybe the best one yet!

Vegas Vacation

Every year we head down to Vegas with a bunch of friends for the NFR. It is really one of my favorite things that we do! Not only do I love the rodeo, I love the people we go down with. We rent out two condos and share between everyone! This year not everyone was able to come down but it was still, as always, a good time! This year seemed like we were going, going, going all the time!

Cowboy Christmas
One thing we always do is head over to Cowboy Christmas. It is a lot of fun to walk around and look at all the million of things they have there. Being there makes me want to slap on some wranglers and boots!

Kars and I with Santa At Cowboy Christmas

The NFR

The National Finals Rodeo! You will never see so many cowboys in your life! There is something about being there that makes it so much fun. We usually sit pretty close to the top but that doesn't matter to us!

Our friends Jimmy, Rylee, Susan, and JJ
One good looking Cowboy!

Let's Make A Deal

While were were in Vegas, we decided to go to the filming of Let's Make a Deal. It was a lllooonnnggg process of waiting in lines, signing papers, and going through interviews but it was worth it! We had so much fun! We didn't get picked to make any big deals but two of the couples with us won a hundred dollars! We had such awesome seats. Kars and I sat on the isle on the second row. Whenever Wayne picked a contestant he brought them down right behind us! I will let you all know when the show airs so you can see our lovely mugs on television!
Cirque Du Solei
While we were there, we got tickets to go see a Cirque Du Solei show and the Treasure Island. If any of you get the chance to go see one of these shows I highly recommend it! It was awesome. They do some seriously crazy things. It is almost unbelievable some of the stuff that they can do.

Snow Storm
We drove home in one of the biggest snow storms of the year so far! It was crazy how much snow we came home to. We are thankful that JJ is such a professional driver and got us home safely! I'll admit there were a few times I got nervous but I am glad we made it home in one piece!

JJ reassuring us that he is a professional.

Kars and I not quite sure if we believed him or not!

As soon as we got home, Kars had to go outside and deal with this mess!

The Holy War

We somehow get lucky every year and score tickets to the BIG game! I don't know what it is about this game but it brings out the crazy in people! We sat right next to the Utah fans and lets just say we were entertained. It was a great game and happily the best team won!!!

Uncle Mike and Boo. Maybe next year they will come wearing the right colors!

GO BYU!!!

Happy Turkey Day!!!

This year we had a very good Thanksgiving! I am so thankful that we live close enough that we get to be with both of our families for the holidays. This year we started off at Grandma Red's in Mona with the Morgan family! The food was delicious as was the company. My favorite meal item this year was the stuffing and mashed potatoes. Than we headed up north to my Grandpa Parduhns. We didn't eat there because we were already stuffed but the food did look tasty! We than went up to my mom's for some famous banana cream pie! Oh my my it is my favorite. I would rather skip the meal and go straight for the pie.
The things I am thankful for this year...
* Having a testimony in Christ
* An amazing, super hott, hardworking husband
* Family- we truly have the most amazing families!
* Sisters
* Great jobs
* Amazing Friends
* The LOVE shack
* Bubble Baths
* Good books
* Two cars that run
* Patience
* Good health
* Happiness
My list could go on and on.
Of course my most favorite part of Thanksgiving (besides the banana cream pie!) is Black Friday! We were up at three and in line at Target to get some killer deals! I must say though that my sister Jami wins the trooper award because she was in line all night long while we were in our nice warm beds trying to get a few hours of sleep! Despite getting hit with the water balloon and freezing your tale off, it was well worth it right Jami! We even got my dad, my brother Zach, and Karson to go again this year! I read it best when a women compared this day to a man's hunt. We scope out the best deals! We fight (literally) to get them! Until next year!

The Jazz Game

We scored some awesome tickets to the Jazz game on Monday night. Even though the Jazz lost, it was fun to go up! We went with Devin and Nat, JJ and Susan. I didn't take many pictures cause im a dud and only took a few! Oh well maybe next time right!

This Is Halloween!!!

I love this time of the year! There is just something about Halloween that kicks off the holidays! I also like it because for one day you get to dress up and be whoever you want to be! Karson and I have been trying to plan what we were going to be since last year. Once again we left it at last minute and got lucky to come across a Wilma and Fred Flinstone costume! Oh well, it turned out great! We started the day off at a Morgan family party! We ate delicious cheese soup in a bread bowl and carved pumpkins! Than we finished of the night with a party at our house. It was regularly supposed to be at the Memmott household but changed last minute when there new house flooded. It turned out great. We ate chili, lost of treats, talked, and watched a scary movie! It was really fun to get together with everyone.
Hope you all had a Happy Halloween!!!

Families Are Forever

On Saturday, we were able to be apart of Kylee, Conner, and Nixons special day! They were sealed as a family in the Salt Lake Temple. It was such an amazing day. The spirit was so strong as they were sealed together, forever. I am so happy for Kylee and Conner. We love them so much and are so proud of how hard they worked on getting to the temple. They are both amazing parents. We look up to them in so many ways! Thank you guys for letting us be apart of you day!

Witches Night Out

Every year, all the ladies in my family dress up as witches and head on up to Witches Night Out at Gardener Village. It is seriously a good time! If you have never been you should seriously plan on it next year! We always eat good food, have fun dancing, and hope to win an awesome prize! It always makes for a good time!
