Ragnar 2012

Last weekend I ran the Wasatch Back aka Ragnar. It was a blast. I did it with a bunch of ladies from Nephi along with my sister in law Kaydee and mother in law Connie.

We were in Van #2. Our legs began on Friday about 12. My first leg I ran was 3.4 miles. It was a great run to start the race.

My second leg was 7 miles down a canyon. I started about midnight. I was most nervous for this run but it ended up being my absolute favorite. The only issue I had with this run is I had to pull off 4 times to use the bathroom on the side of the road.

My last leg was 5.5 miles around 11 the next day. It was mostly up hill and extremely HOT! Lets just say I was beyond happy to have that one done with. The best part about this run was I ran into Midway and all along the way people had sprinklers on or hoses spraying off the runners. I am pretty sure it was the only thing that kept me going!

It was so much fun and I can't wait to do it again.

Our van. We were the girls with altitude.

My sister ran with all my cousins and we saw her along the way! It was fun to be able to cheer them on as well!

SueAnn and I sporting the same pants!

My awesome family  Kaydee and Connie.

Waiting for our last runner to run in!

10 months

This little man is 10 months old! He has changed so much over this past month. He army crawls all over the place, grunting the whole way. He can pull himself up into standing position. He loves to follow Madden where ever he goes. He now has 3 teeth. When he smiles he closes his eyes. He just got his first hair cut a few days ago. He loves to eat, eat, eat! He says ma ma and da da. He just learned how to wave. He claps all day long. When you ask him what the vroom vroom says he make the noise. He is still a cuddle bug. Still such a mommas boy. You ask him where Madden is and he looks all over the place and claps when he finds him. His little personality is coming out more and more! We love our little Nasher bug!

BEST NEWS EVER!

Yesterday we went up to Shriner's for Nash's follow up appointment. I felt unbelievably calm the whole week leading up to it. Thank goodness for prayer. They took Nash right away and got some X-rays of him. After they took us back into a separate room. The doctor came in and started playing with Nash. He was very impressed by how developed and active he was. He had missed his nap so he was crazy hyper and was laughing like crazy. The doctor measured his X-ray and he had gone from a 29 degree curve down to a 20 in just four months! That is 9 degrees! He proceeded to tell us that with a little TLC Nash will completely heal 100% on his own. What amazing news right?! We have to go back in 6 months and Nash will probably need X-rays every year for the rest of his life but I will take that! Nothing makes me happier than to know that he will have the opportunity to have a normal life. We have seen so many blessings come from this. I know Heavenly Father has heard every one of our prayers and has been there to comfort us through this whole deal. Such a blessing and miracle our little Nasher boy is!

Sand Hollow

We went down to St. George this weekend for the Parduhn family reunion. My grandpa has a beautiful time share home in Sand Hollow. We stayed for a few days and played hard. We also relaxed, talked, and ate great food. Love my family!

The wonderful world of Disney!

We went to Disneyland last week and had a blast! Disneyland is so magical. Taking kids there is beyond magical. I love everything about Disney. Madden was in heaven. Every morning in our hotel room he would sit at the door and yell lets go, lets go, lets go! Nash was his happy little self. I am already looking forward to our next trip!

Madden slept in the closet.

Madden still talks about Disneyland. He tells everyone he saw pirates on a boat. What an awesome trip!

Big boy!

This sweet little boy is now 9 months old! He is the most content little guy you will ever meet! He just goes with the flow. He has a huge appetite and can eat more than Madden any day. He has not meet a food he has yet to enjoy! He just switched to formula a few weeks ago which was a huge challenge but now its great! He still has just 2 teeth. He has not mastered the art of crawling yet but is trying super hard. He has figured out a way to get places though by rolling, scooting on his back, and pulling at the carpet. He takes two 2 hour naps a day. He goes to bed at 7 and wakes up at 7. He is still in our room darn it. We have not made the move because either Madden has been sick or Nash has for the past 3 months. He loves to play with his older brother. He is such a cuddle bug. He loves giving open mouth kisses. He can say ma ma, da da, and no no. He is quite the mommas boy these days. Sometimes I am the only person he wants. He wont watch TV really. He loves to be in water. We love having Nash around! I can not remember life without two kids! Happy 9 months Nash-a-roo!
