Sunny St.George

We headed down to St.George this weekend to get away! Karson had Friday off so we figured why not! My sister had her baby last week so we also went and meet the little guy. It was fun and a MUCH needed vacation for me. My other sister and her family came down as well as my brother and his wife! We had a lot of fun. I love spending time with my siblings! Now I am just sitting here procrastinating unpacking, cleaning, and laundry! Oh well, it was worth it!

Making us laugh on the way down!

We went to a park and the first thing Madden did was run for the stairs.

Madden and Ry Ry

Lexi. She is the sweetest little girl.

Nikki and my big boy!

All the playing wore this little guy right out!

Madden has to have his "equipment" everywhere we go.

Put sunscreen all over Nash except I must of missed his poor little nose!

Little Rav. He is quite a chunk and so cute!

This is how we entertain the boys on the way home.. with food!

Madden feel asleep mid snacking!
I love this picture! He is just lounging!

Tot Collar

I think this little guy was born with such a sweet little spirit for a reason. He is one tough little guy. He has gone through so much in his short little life already. Since we have had him in therapy he has advanced so much. He has full range of motion with his head now which is an awesome achievement in such a short amount of time. Unfortunately with his crooked spine, it makes him sit crooked. He has learned to compensate by holding his head the other way to even himself out. He looks like an S almost. To help the therapist suggest a Tot Collar. It pushes his head so he has to hold it the other way. Poor kid hated it at first but tolerates it just fine now. He has to wear it  two times a day for 20 minutes and than work up to an hour. I know I have said it before but we have been so blessed since he has come into our lives. I have seen some miracles and blessing happen through all this. He is such a trooper!

Splish Slash

I have been waiting for this day for quite some time! These two could probably play for hours in the tub! I love my boys!

First Graham Cracker Experience

This little boy loves food. I let him go at it with a graham cracker the other day and I think its safe to say he LOVED it! He couldn't get enough! Love my little chunk!

Pesky little leprechauns!

Pesky little leprechauns came and turned our breakfast green!

We decided to wear our green so we wont get pinched! Apparently someone pinched Madden anyway! He was not having any of it!

We are loving this weather!

Means we get to wear our spring clothes and play outside!

Nash's Back

We have had a lot of people ask us about Nash's back. What it looks like, can you tell his little spine is crooked, etc. I decided it is easier to explain just by looking at it. Like I mentioned we have him in therapy and I truly think that it is helping. As you can see in the picture he curves to the left like the letter c. This has made his right side extremely strong by compensating to hold him up. Since we have had him in therapy he has rolled over and has learned to sit up. The doctor at Shriners told me that kids with Infantile Scoliosis are a little slower in development so he might fall behind a bit. I feel like he is right where he should be! He is a tough little guy! He was also diagnosed with torticollis which is where he can't turn his head one way. Since therapy he has done extremely well. He will now turn and hold his head to the left for a bit where he wouldn't even look at all. We don't go back up to Shriners until June so we wont know anymore until than.  We are truly thankful for all your prayers, thoughts, and concerns. We have felt so much love over the past few months. It means a lot to our little family!

Madden had to be in his diaper and wanted me to take his picture too!
Despite everything this little boy is so happy!

Books with Nash

I put Nash on the floor and looked over to see Madden reading him a book. It was so cute. They were both laughing and holding hands. I love these two.

6 months

 Weight: 17lbs.
Height: 28"
Head: 13.1

I seriously can't believe this little boy is already 6 months old. Where does the time go honestly. He is such a little sweetie. He hardly ever cries unless he is super hunger. He is content to hang out all day and just watch what is going on around him. He has just started solids and some days can't get enough. He is still nursing and is quite and addict. We are trying to get him to take some formula but he wants nothing to do with it. He just learned to officially roll and sit up in the same week. This is awesome for him giving his little crooked back. We have him in therapy and he is such a trooper! He loves his big brother and laughs at him constantly. He is quite the mommas boy. He takes 2 two hour naps and a short 45 minute nap. His bed time is 6:30. He has been a big stink and wakes up one or two time in the night.

I can't get enough of this little boy. Such an amazing addition to our family and I can't thank Heavenly Father enough for sending him when he did!

18 months

 Weight: 25 lbs.
Height: 32"
Madden turned 18 months a month ago but better late than never right! This little boy is a spit fire! He has the funniest little personality. He is a little comedian and wants everyone to laugh at him. He is the best big brother ever! He is the worst eater ever. He is obsessed with Mickey Mouse Club House and brings us the remote and asks for pluto. He is still always on the go. Takes a 2-3 hour nap in the day and goes to bed at 7:30 and wakes up about 7. He loves his crib. He still loves his little monkey. Always has to have a sippy in his hand. Is starting to talk like crazy! Loves animals.

I feel so lucky to be this little guys momma! He has brought so much joy and happiness into our lives. He can be a little crazy and is always testing my patience but I love being able to spend every day with him! It is so crazy how big he is getting!

Life Savers

Madden is the worst eater ever! He eats enough to keep a bird alive. He was sick and not eating anything at all. I decided to buy some of these and little squeezable fruit and both my boys loved them. Nash has learned to suck through a straw and just sucks these right up. Madden will actually eat them! I love them! I am excited to go up to costco to get the apple sauce ones cause these ones are a pretty penny!
