Happy BIRTH Day Ryder!

My sister Jami gave birth to this little man on Monday!
He is definitely a keeper.
Kars and I got to go up and see him on Monday night. He is so tiny and so dang cute.
Congratulations Christiansen clan,
We love you all!

On the way home from the hospital... my dear car got a flat tire. Luckily we were not too far from the hospital so my dad came and helped. We have had NO lucky lately in the car department!

my first half marathon!

Yup! That's right, I did it!
I ran a half marathon and I didn't die!
A few months ago I signed up for the Provo trail half marathon in hopes to get in shape and to drop some of those unwanted pounds that have seemed to find me since I have been married! I thought it would be a great motivator to get me out and start running. I was a bit nervous because as the race approached, I wasn't training as well as I should have been. My main goal was to finish the race without having to stop and walk. I am proud to say I ran 13.1 miles without taking a break! I am a pretty slow runner so I came in at 2 hours and 25 minutes but hey at least I came in! I felt pretty good until I hit about mile 11. That's when the tears started coming and I had to motivate myself to keep on going! Let's just say seeing Kar's at the finish line was a very welcoming sight! I am so happy that I did it. It was probably one of the harder things that I have done in a long time. I can't wait to do another one in the near future! I just have to give it a while so I can forget the pain I felt a few days after!!!

One year down... eternity to go!!!!

Tomorrow is our anniversary!
I cannot believe that we have already been married a whole year! It honestly seems like yesterday that Kar's and I met. I love everything about being married. I love being able to sit in bed and laugh at each other. I love being able to spend time with each other. I love that he is my best friend. I love that he will someday be the daddy to my children. I love that Karson is the one that I get to spend eternity with.
Happy Anniversary Kars.... I love you more than you know

Morgan Family Reunion

Karsons grandma held a family reunion at her house over the 24th of July weekend. It was a big three day event. I didn't take any pictures of the whole weekend for some reason so these pictures are from Connie. (thanks!) One of the days we went to Fountain Green up this really pretty canyon and watched the boys rock climb. Hopefully next time I will be able to convince myself to do it! Than later that night they rented the Nephi pool and we got to swim for a bit before we headed to watch Mona fireworks which were amazing. It was a really fun weekend.
