We've gone country!

I think its safe to say we fit in a little bit more around here! We got ourselves some chickens! We have been wanting them for a while but decided we really wanted them after Madden became obsessed with them. For some reason he loves chickens. Needless to say it was a HUGE hit! He sat out there for ever saying chicks, chicks, chicks! Our poor chickens!

8 months old

This little guy is now 8 months old. He is growing up way too fast. He is the sweetest little guy. He is constantly happy until you wave food in front of his face! He now has two teeth. He still is nursing. He will not take anything other than me unless its his brothers sippy cup. He loves loves loves Madden. He is so content to sit and play with a pile of toys. He will watch a little bit of TV but nothing like his older brother. He hates being on his stomach so he is not even near close to crawling. He scoots around on his back by bending his head into an arch. He has a little blue blanket that he loves. He is wearing 12-18 month clothing. He is a solid little guy. He loves taking tubbies. He takes two naps a day and is in bed by 6:30. He was sleeping through the night til his teeth decided to make and appearance. He laughs and giggles all day long. He is super shy. He is quite the mommas boy and I don't mind. He can out eat Madden any day. He is such a joy to have around. Love you Nasharoo!

The grass is just a little bit greener....

In our yard!!! After almost four years of living here we have grass! Our sod was delivered on Friday and was in by Saturday afternoon! It looks amazing and I am beyond excited to spend many days and nights in our yard. I am so thankful to everyone who came and helped. We have already spent many hours outside already and I am loving it. Karson even surprised me with patio furniture.I honestly have not been this exciting in a long time. I am pretty sure our neighborhood is excited too... haha!

Fun in the Sun

We are loving this warm weather. Madden could seriously live outside all day long! I am loving it too. Little boys belong in outside playing in the dirt!

Boys in a Box

Best Buddies

Whenever Nash wakes up Madden goes running! He hurries and climbs into the pack and play and these two will hang out for a good half hour. They sit and laugh at each other. Its pretty cute if I do say so myself! These two love each other. Seriously I love having them so close together. Its moments like this that make the hard days worth it!

Hold You

Maddens new thing is "hold you" when he wants to be held. Well he thinks he can hold Nash all the time now. Poor Nash is such a trooper. Madden wanted us to take his picture of him holding Nash so we had a mini photo shoot. Don't mind Maddens nasty shirt. I promise its not drool he spilled his water!

Check out that gut!

Cupcake Theft

I was making cupcakes for Young Women's today and apparently Madden decided to help himself. He was being unusually quite and I look over to him feeding his giraffe. I couldn't help but laugh. I asked him who did it and he said "Nash did". The little stinker! He was pleased as punch!

Helping Daddy

We been working on our yard because we are getting Sod on Saturday! Karson borrowed his parents 4 wheeler to go over the dirt and Madden decided he wanted to help. He sat on the back for about 45 minutes with the biggest smile on his face. He loved helping Daddy!

Hoppy Easter

Easter was a little different this year. Both our families went out of town and Karson was on call so we were stuck in Nephi! It actually turned out to be a pretty fun Easter. Saturday night we went up to Kaydees and had a bbq, colored eggs, and flew kites. It was so much fun. Than Sunday Karson and I took turns going to church and after had our own little hunt! Madden loved finding the eggs and was even more excited when he realized that there was candy in it! I didn't fill all the eggs because I figured he wouldn't care. Well I was wrong. He found an empty egg ran over to Karson and said no canee?!? Apparently this little boy takes after me and is a candy junky! I love Easter. I am so grateful we get to celebrate the birth and the atonement of Christ. I am so thankful for what he did in the garden for me, for my boys, and my family. My little family is everything and knowing that I have them forever makes me happy.

This is what Madden had for breakfast. No one he didn't take a nap he was running on a serious sugar high!

Dying eggs at Kaydee's house.
